Certified Welder (Process 131– MIG)

About the position

Are you a professional in MIG welding (Process 131) and do you want to work on challenging projects?
within shipbuilding, modular construction and heavy construction? At Qempower we are looking
certified welders who are passionate about quality and precision. You will have the opportunity to develop your
to use experience with leading clients in the maritime and industrial sectors.

What are you going to do?

• Carrying out welding work in accordance with process 131 (MIG).
• Welding of steel and aluminium structures in various positions.
• Reading and applying technical drawings and WPS documents.
• Working on projects with high quality standards and NDT inspection.
• Collaborate with colleagues in construction and shipbuilding teams.

What do we expect from you?

• Valid certification EN ISO 9606-1 (MIG – process 131).
• Demonstrable experience as a MIG welder (steel and/or aluminium).
• Experience with multilayer welding and various welding positions.
• Technical insight and precise working attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Dutch or English.
