Certified Welder (Process 121–SAW)

About the position

Are you an experienced Certified Welder (Process 121 – SAW) and do you want to work on
Challenging projects in shipbuilding and heavy construction? At Qempower you get the
opportunity to use your expertise with leading clients. You will work with
modern equipment and performs welds that meet the highest quality requirements, including
100% NDT inspections.

What are you going to do?

• Carrying out welding work in accordance with welding process 121 (SAW) .
• Working with single and double wire systems (AC/DC).
• Welding of thick plates, X-, K- and V-joints and semi-narrow gap connections.
• Providing high-quality welding work, checked by NDT.
• Collaborate with colleagues in construction, shipbuilding and module construction.

What do we expect from you?

• Valid certification EN ISO 14732 (SAW).
• Demonstrable experience with SAW welding (121).
• Experience with multilayer welding in position PA.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and safety requirements.
• Independent, accurate and quality-oriented.
• Good command of Dutch or English.
