Pipe fitter
About the position
Are you an experienced pipe fitter who can effortlessly read technical drawings and fit pipes according to
specifications? At Qempower you work on challenging projects in shipbuilding,
Offshore and industrial. You are responsible for customizing, fitting, and assembling
of pipelines that meet the highest quality requirements.
What are you going to do?
- Cutting, bending and preparing pipes and conduits.
- Carry out fitting and bonding work in accordance with isometric drawings.
- Collaborate with welders and other disciplines for the finishing of pipe systems.
- Check for fit, dimensions and quality.
- Working in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards (QA/QC).
What do we expect from you?
- Demonstrable experience as a pipe fitter in shipbuilding or industry.
- Skill in reading isometric drawings and P&ID diagrams.
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel and possibly aluminium.
- VCA certificate (or willing to obtain one).
- Good command of Dutch or English.
