Ironworker foreman
About the position
Qempower is looking for an experienced Ironworkers Foreman who can manage a
team of ironworkers on challenging projects in shipbuilding, construction and offshore. You
are responsible for the daily management, allocation of tasks and monitoring
of quality and safety in the workplace.
What are you going to do?
- Managing and motivating a team of ironworkers.
- Distributing work and monitoring the schedule.
- Supervising the execution of construction and assembly work.
- Checking quality according to technical drawings and QA/QC guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for project management and clients.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience as an ironworker and in a managerial role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of construction, shipbuilding or heavy steel construction.
- Good command of technical drawings.
- In possession of VCA-VOL or willing to obtain this.
- Strong communication skills and stress resistant.
- Good command of Dutch and/or English.
